The HIOKI L9843-51 is a 50 m yellow test lead with flat winding board for measurement setups with large distances between the test object and the auxiliary electrode. It is an accessory for the FT6041, FT6041-91 and FT6031-50 Earth Testers and is typically used as an auxiliary lead in the earth measurement setup.
One end of the lead is equipped with a 4 mm safety plug for connection to the measuring instrument, while the other end has a fixed crocodile clip. The fixed crocodile clip is designed for connection to auxiliary earth spikes and opens up to 8 mm. The flat winding board provides orderly lead storage and handling and allows simple transport without a cable reel.
With a lead resistance in the range of 100 mΩ per meter, the L9843-51 is suitable for earth measurements where lead resistance does not significantly affect the measurement. The test lead is not suitable for low resistance measurements.
